RECEIVER, TRANSMISSION APPARATUS AND TRANSMISSION SYSTEM FOR EARLY WARNING BY TERRESTRIAL DIGITAL TELEVISION BROADCAST

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver, transmission apparatus and transmission system for Early Warning by terrestrial digital television broadcast.

SOLUTION: The transmission system for Early Warning by terrestrial digital television broadcast includes: the transmission apparatus for transmitting Early Warning using a transmission control signal of a terrestrial digital television broadcasting wave; and the receiver 1 for receiving the transmission control signal. The transmission apparatus sets a flag identifying presence/absence of Early Warning and telegram message information identifying a class of the Early Warning and when transmitting different items of earthquake information over a plurality of frames in the transmission control signal of the broadcasting wave, the transmission apparatus adds an earthquake information number representing what number of earthquake information item one frame indicates to the different items of earthquake information and transmits the earthquake information. The receiver receives the terrestrial digital television broadcasting wave, extracts the transmission control signal, discriminates a plurality of kinds of information for signal identification of telegram message information contained in the transmission control signal and analyzes what number of earthquake information the current frame to be received indicates on the basis of information of the earthquake information number as contents of the discriminated kind of the Early Warning.
