<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas control device of an internal combustion engine which is provided with an exhaust treatment device, and in which reactivity of the exhaust treatment device is improved. <P>SOLUTION: The exhaust gas control device of the internal combustion engine is provided with the exhaust treatment device which purifies an exhaust gas and is formed in a way that it supplies unburnt fuel into exhaust gas from a fuel adding valve, generates flame by igniting the unburnt fuel by a glow plug, and the generated flame reaches the end section on the upstream side of the exhaust treatment device. The unburnt fuel is attached to the end section on the upstream side of the exhaust treatment device before the generated flame reaches the exhaust treatment device, an activated material is generated by burning the unburnt fuel attached to the end section on the upstream side of the exhaust treatment device by flame, and the generated activated material is supplied to the exhaust treatment device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
