<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal and a mounting structure capable of readily and surely preventing the corrosion of the hetero-metallic junction portion of the terminal and the wire in a hollow package, and to provide a corrosion prevention method for them. <P>SOLUTION: On a metal layer 2 constituted of a terminal 4, a water and oil-repellent resin layer 3 composed of fluorine-based resin, silicone-based resin, and the like, are formed. An element 5 equipped with the terminal 4 is mounted on a hollow package body 10; by a wire bonding method that uses ultrasonic waves, the terminal 4 of the element 5 and the inner lead 11 of the package body 10 are mutually connected via a wire 15, constituted of a second metal whose principal component is different from that of a first metal which results in the formation of the mounting structure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
