<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for driving a lancet to prevent injury and infection caused by externally exposing the lancet needle tip after puncture. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus 11 for driving a lancet includes a lancet with a puncture needle on one end thereof and a housing member to house the lancet movably in the inside thereof. A connector receiver 19 to be fit to the end part of the lancet and an ejection lever 22 to press a housing member of the lancet device are provided. In a state that the lancet is attached to the connector receiver 19, the housing member is moved toward the tip end direction of the puncture needle by the ejection lever 22 to relatively move the lancet and the housing member. At a position where the puncture needle does not project out from the housing member, a projection set on the lancet is engaged with an engagement part of the housing member to regulate movement of the lancet with respect to the housing member. After the projection is engaged with the engagement part, the attachment of the lancet to the connector receiver 19 is released by further pressing the housing member to the tip end direction by the ejection lever 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
