<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backlight unit reducing the number of light guide members necessary for taking out at the time of maintenance such as replacing a light-emitting element or a light guide member as many as possible so as to enable to reduce its labor hours. <P>SOLUTION: A light guide plate 2 includes a light incident part 2a where light irradiated from an LED 1 is incident, a light diffusion part 2b made by slanting from the light incident part 2a in a direction separating from a substrate 3 for diffusing the light incident to the light incident part 2a, and a light emission part 2c emitting light diffused at the light diffusion part 2b. And also, two light guide plates 2 adjoining at front and rear arranged toward the same direction to be seen into a light progress direction at the light diffusion part 2b of the light guide plate 2, are arranged so that a part of the front light guide plate 2 is positioned at a gap formed between the light diffusion part 2b of the rear light guide plate 2 and the substrate 3. Then, each of the light guide plates 2 is arranged so that the light progressing direction at the light diffusion part 2b heads from outside toward inside of the backlight unit X. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
