<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent interference of an air bag in deployment and a bracket for retaining a roof lining. <P>SOLUTION: A curtain air bag device 1 having the air bag 2 retained by a protector 3 having an opened lower side is mounted along an inner panel 20a of a roof side rail 20, and a bracket 30 arranged between the inner panel 20a and the roof lining 50 and retaining the roof lining 50 is mounted to the inner panel 20a to an upper part of a vehicle body at a central side in a vehicle width direction more than the curtain air bag device 1 adjacent to the protector 3. An opening 4 of the protector 3 is closed by an outer end part 54 in a vehicle width direction of the roof lining 50. An inner wall part 7 of the protector 3 is provided with a lower extension part 10 extending to a lower side more than a lower end of the bracket 30, and a horizontal extension part 9 arranged below the lower end of the bracket 30 and extending to a central side in a vehicle width direction more than an outer edge in a vehicle width direction of the lower end. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
