PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is impossible conventionally to automatically updating a map or to support the update of the map by using external information such as web pages. SOLUTION: The map information processing device 12 includes: a map information storage section 121 capable of storing map information containing a map and one or more geographical objects which are the information concerning the objects outputted on the map; a change determining section 125 which acquires appearance state information indicating the state of appearance of the geographical objects contained in external information which is one or more pieces of information stored in an external device and, by using the appearance state information, determines the change of the geographical objects on the map; and a map information output section which changes the geographical objects determined to be changed by the change determining section and outputs the map and the changed map objects.
