PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a data backup system of a monitor and control device capable of selecting right data as setting data in starting even when restarting the device. SOLUTION: A monitor and control substrate 100 holds the setting data in starting the device. First, second backup substrates 200a, 200b hold backup data of the setting data. A monitor and control part 102 collates the setting data held by the monitor and control substrate 100 with the backup data held by the first, second backup substrates 200a, 200b to determine the setting data based on collation results when the setting data is selected in starting the device.
