<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio system and a method for controlling the output of the audio system. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The audio system includes: a source unit including an audio signal; a receiver which receives the audio signal and creates a canceling signal for canceling the audio signal; a first speaker for outputting the audio signal; and a second speaker for outputting the canceling signal.
