<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To economically and surely separate a test body in an earth retaining wall without taking time to obtain a test result of high accuracy. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This earth retaining wall load testing method is provided for carrying out an original position load test to the earth retaining wall 1 using its partial width portion as the test body T in the earth retaining wall integrally formed by erecting a plurality of core members 3 formed of shape steel with spaces in the width direction of a wall within an earth retaining wall forming object range 2 formed by excavating the ground in a wall shape, and filling a curable fluid 4 therein. When the core members 3 are lowered into the earth retaining wall forming object range 2, tube bodies 6 for forming partitions 5 crossing in a wall thickness direction, at both edges within a range corresponding to the test body T are mounted to the core members 3 and lowered, and in a state of the partition 5 formed by swelling out the tube bodies 6, the curable fluid 4 in the earth retaining wall forming object range 2 is hardened to carry out the original position load test to the test body T in a state of being separated from the other portion of the earth retaining wall 1.
