<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for processing a lining capable of obtaining a stable adhering strength (peeling strength) with a small applying quantity of adhesive in the lining processing of a tufted carpet. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This invention is accomplished by finding out the method for processing the lining by which the stable adhering strength (peeling strength) can be obtained with a small applying quantity of the adhesive by adhering to each other after fluffing the adhering face of a second bath cloth before adhering a skin layer and the second bath cloth in the processing the lining of the tufted carpet.
