<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of surely reducing the influence of a respiratory body motion by a simple method independent of imaging timing, in magnetic resonance imaging. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In a subject to be displaced by periodic body motions such as a respiratory motion or a cardiac motion, echo signals collected in a specified body motion time phase are gathered in a specified k space and images are reconstructed from the result. The body motion time phase of the subject is discriminated by using sensitivity distribution of a plurality of sub coils configuring a reception coil and specifying the displacement of the subject on the basis of the peak value of the echo signals received in the respective sub coils.
