The cell has a passenger compartment wall (2) provided with an outer wall (4), a reinforcement element (6a, 6b) and an inner lining element (8). The reinforcement element and the inner lining element are arranged at an inner side of the outer wall that is turned toward a passenger compartment (11). A visible surface (20) of the passenger compartment wall is turned toward the passenger compartment and exclusively formed from a surface of the reinforcement element and the inner lining element. Cavities (10a, 10b, 10c) are formed between the outer wall and the visible surface.
