PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasm display provided with a new sustaining electrode drive circuit which uses low breakdown strength transistor. SOLUTION: The sustaining electrode drive circuit includes: a first switch connected to a power source of first voltage; a second switch connected to a power source of first voltage lower than the first voltage; and a third switch 60 connected to a power source of third voltage Ve lower than the first voltage and higher than the second voltage, wherein the third switch 60 includes: a first transistor Q61 of which the drain is connected to a power source of the third voltage Ve; a second transistor Q62 of which the drain is connected to an output terminal N0 and the source is connected to a source of the first transistor Q61; a floating power source connected to a source of the first transistor Q61 or a source of the second transistor Q62; and a capacity C78 for compensating breakdown strength of which one terminal is connected to a floating power source and the other terminal is connected to the output terminal N0.
