<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for supporting a display panel, the device excelling in safety relative to a conventional one, and stably supporting a display panel. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A body of this device for supporting a display panel comprises: a wall-fixed member 1 fixed to a wall surface W; a panel fixation part 2 for fixing the display panel P thereto; and a connection member 3 for connecting the wall-fixed member 1 to the panel fixation part 2. The connection member 3 comprises a main arm 31 and a sub-arm 32, and object part 4 to be pivoted are formed at both side ends of the respective arms 31, 32. The wall-fixed member 1 is provided with a pivoting part 5 for pivoting the object part 4 formed on one-side side ends of the respective arms 31, 32, and the panel fixation part 2 is provided with a pivoting part 5 for pivoting the object part 4 formed on the other-side side ends of the respective arms 31, 32. The one-side pivoting part out of the pivoting parts 5 provided for the wall-fixed member 1 and the panel fixation part 2 can be laterally slid along the wall-fixed member 1 or the panel fixation part 2 provided with the pivoting part 5.
