<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum forming device capable of providing a required number of openings in a required position in a peripheral wall, and capable of carrying out satisfactorily work for molding, maintenance and the like, in the vacuum forming device provided with the peripheral wall to surround a space between the first fixed plate and the second fixed plate, to form a vacuum chamber in an inside thereof. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This vacuum forming device 10 includes a die clamping device having an upper fixed plate 12, a lower fixed plate 18, a movable plate 24, a tie rod 20 as a strength member for connecting the upper fixed plate 12 and the lower fixed plate 18. and a die clamping cylinder 14, and an evacuating device having the peripheral wall 48 for surrounding the whole space between the upper fixed plate 12 and the lower fixed plate 18, to be blocked from an outside, and for making the space serve as the vacuum chamber 50, and a vacuum pump for evacuating the vacuum chamber 50 under the condition where the movable plate 24 and a molding die 28 are positioned in an inside of the vacuum chamber 50, and a molding material is injected from an injection machine 34 to the molding die 28 in the vacuum chamber 50, so as to be molded.
