The element (1) has a flexible element (2) e.g. flexible metal strip (3), arranged at a capacitor electrode section (4) in an electrically conductive manner. The flexible element has a U-shaped curved section. A plate shaped element (12) is formed integrally with a leg such that a region (5a) of another capacitor electrode section (5) of the plate shaped element is covered in non contact manner. Distance (A) between the covered region of the latter electrode section and the plate shaped element is adjusted by rigid bending of the curved section and a desired capacitance of the element. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) antenna for transmitting and/or receiving radio signals (2) a method for manufacturing an antenna.
