PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of adjusting the electric resistance and a heater as well as its manufacturing method that enable to obtain a good yield in manufacturing. SOLUTION: The electric resistance adjusting method comprises an heater having a stainless steel substrate, an insulating layer formed on the stainless steel substrate and a resistance pattern 11 formed on the insulating layer and an conductive layer 2a which is laminated on the resistance pattern 11 to adjust the electric resistance. In the manufacture of the heater utilizing this method, plural number of heaters, having larget electric resistance of the resistance pattern established larger than the product standards are manufactured, and the heater having the target value outside the standards are adjusted to be smaller by the above method in the electric resistance of the resistance pattern. Thus all the heaters outside the product standards are made to have the electric resistance within the product standards. |
