<p>The baffle (9) has a perforated wall (5) with holes (6) facing a noise source, and a structure (8) located between an outer wall (1) and the perforated wall. The structure has hollow volumes (2) communicating with the holes, where the structure and the perforated wall form a Helmholtz resonance system. The perforated wall is fixed on the structure by a dissipating material (7) e.g. viscoelastic adhesive, which is intercalated at an interface between the structure and the perforated wall. The outer wall is made of plastic material i.e. polyamide. The perforated wall is made of woven material.</p> |
