<p>PURPOSE: A method for preventing smell spreading of pest repellent ingredient is provided to inhibit gathering of pest in a certain site. CONSTITUTION: A product of pest repellent is manufactured by dipping an ingredient which is hard to spread smell in a fiber carrier together with soluble liquid or dispersed solution. The ingredient has high olfactory sensitivity for pest and low olfactory sensitivity for human. The ingredient is p-menthane-3, 8-diole, p-menthane-1, 8-diol, or mixture thereof. The use amount of p-methane-3,8-diol is 0.02-1.0 g/10L with respect to rice container. The product of pest repellent contains p-menthane-3,8-diol and plant-derived anti-smell component.</p> |
