<p>The invention relates to a tilt adjusting mechanism adjusts a tilt of at least one of a plurality of objective lenses 1, 2 arranged to face an optical disc 17 so that they have the same inclination state. The tilt adjusting mechanism includes a lens retaining cylinder 3 to which an objective lens to be a target of the tilt adjustment is fixed, and a protector member 4 to which the lens retaining cylinder 3 is fixed from a slidable state for the tilt adjustment.
