A child vehicle seat comprises a seat, a chassis, at least one mounting element for securing the chassis in a vehicle, as well as at least one detector for detecting whether the mounting element is correctly mounted in the vehicle. The chassis is further provided with at least one indicator for indicating whether the chassis is correctly secured in the vehicle. The seat is detachably connectable to the chassis. The chassis is provided with at least one detector for detecting whether the seat is correctly connected to the chassis, whilst an alarm signal is delivered by the indicator in use if the chassis is not correctly secured in the vehicle whilst the seat is correctly connected to the chassis. |
