Carbon-11 production involves bombarding target in a target body. A side of the target body is coated partially with a material, which represents a diffusion barrier for carbon. The carbon is placed in the material of the target body (1) or totally made of this material or a sleeve made of this material is placed at side of the target body. The side is turned towards the target.
