<p>A camshaft, especially for motor vehicle engines, comprises opposed cams (3,4) on a camshaft (1,2) with inner (5) and outer (6) coaxial shafts with oppositely turning cams, one (3) being fixed to the inner shaft and one (4) to the outer. The outer shaft is a circular cylindrical tube of uniform inner diameter (d) giving a stepless inner surface (9) and the inner shaft has an end-securing unit (100) secured directly on the inner surface of the outer shaft.</p> |
