PURPOSE: An apparatus for automatically inspecting a cylindrical battery cell is provided to quickly select only good products by accurately and quickly performing the surface inspection of the cylindrical battery cell and to improve the accuracy for selecting the good products. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for automatically inspecting a cylindrical battery cell is comprised of an inspection preparation part(250) and a determination part(400). The inspection preparation part divides the cylindrical battery cans into the cylindrical battery cans of preset number. The inspection preparation part selectively rotates the cylindrical battery cans to arrange the opening of the divided cylindrical battery cans in same direction.
