The assembly (1) has a wall (6) acting as stop with displacement capacity guided with respect to a lever (2) to permit adjustment of selection course of a lever (2) from a dead point position in correspondence with a transmission position. The adjustment resulting from displacement of the wall using a process tool (8) corresponds to the desired course and immobilizes the wall in the adjusting position.
