PURPOSE: An IP address searching device and a method thereof are provided to remotely find a changed fixed IP address of an access point. CONSTITUTION: A subscriber matching unit(25) matches an IP of an access point extracted from an IP extracting unit with port number/Internet connection number saved in database of a subscriber information extracting unit. A synchronizing unit(26) compares the IP of the access point matched in the subscriber matching unit with an IP of an access point saved in an IP managing system. When the IPs are different, the synchronizing unit updates the IP as an IP of the access point matched in the subscriber matching unit.
