A brief-type diaper in which a brief-type diaper precursor 81) is formed such that a pre-leg opening part (6) straddles a pre-girth part (4) at a laterally symmetric twin chevron pre-crotch part (5) extending entirely from a lower fringe at the substantially rectangular pre-girth part (4). An absorber (7) is disposed on the upper surface of the panty type diaper precursor (1) and folded laterally along a line-symmetric axis Y-Y. The pre-girth part (4) and the pre-crotch part (5) are thereby overlapped and then the side fringe parts (4a) and the lower fringe parts (5a) are bonded respectively thus obtaining a panty diaper having no joint at the left and right bodies in the girth area. <IMAGE> |
