FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of continuous basalt fiber from basalt rock melt, namely to spinneret feeder intended for producing basalt jet to make fiber from said melt. Proposed spinneret feeder consists of melt bath, feeder housing, filtration screen, current supply lines, spinneret plate and spinnerets. Note here that spinneret channel crosswise section represents truncated cone with its base making spinneret inlet on the side of the furnace bath feeder and its apex making spinneret outlet. The length of spinneret channel inner surface generatrix makes 1.6-1.8 of the sum of inlet and outlet radii while the latter are related as follows: r2/r1=(0.350.45). ^ EFFECT: simple design, high efficiency, high-quality continuous basalt fiber with preset parametres. ^ 2 dwg |
