FIELD: metallurgy. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to increased uniformity of preliminary de-scaling and deformation hardening along circumference of work-piece cross-section, and to equipment for primary rough de-scaling surfaces of hot rolled work-pieces - rods; also rough de-scaling is included to system of "mechanical de-scaling-drawing" flow lines. The procedure consists in bending in two mutually perpendicular planes. Minimal possible hardening and raised versatility of treatment of work-pieces of various diametre are facilitated due to bending in two mutually perpendicular planes turned relative to the first pair of planes at 45 angle, when degrees of deformation and radii of bend, exceeding 13-15 diametres of a work-piece, alternately decrease. ^ EFFECT: scale breaker with corresponding equipment prevents defects of mechanical origin; also length of process flow line is decreased. ^ 12 cl, 6 dwg, 1 tbl |
