FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drawing on steel surfaces, for example on sward, knife and dagger blades. Proposed method comprises application of photoresist, mounting sward, knife or dagger with photo mask, exposure, development, quality control and etching the surface over non-printing elements. First, sward, knife or dagger is subjected to copper-plating, surface etching over non-printing elements in solution that etches copper and does not etches steel. Then steel is saturated by doping elements over non-printing areas. Now, after saturation, said surface is thermally hardened and copper is removed from the entire surface for it to be finished. After finishing, said surface is subjected to slight etching. ^ EFFECT: high-quality no-relief pattern on steel surfaces and higher operating qualities. ^ 2 cl |
