PURPOSE: A toothbrush and a manufacturing method thereof are provided, which achieve excellent penetration and extend the lifetime of the toothbrush. CONSTITUTION: A toothbrush is manufactured in order to have height difference of the long bristle and short bristle. The endpoint diameter of the long bristle is 0.01-0.03mm. The endpoint diameter of the short bristle is 0.03-0.08mm. The taper length of the long bristle is 4-8mm. The taper length of the short bristle is 2-6mm. The taper length difference of the short bristle and long bristle is 1-4mm. The endpoint diameter of the long bristle of 0.01-0.03mm is 80% or greater. The endpoint diameter of the short bristle of 0.03-0.08mm is 80% or greater. The rate of the long bristle and short bristle is from 70:30 to 30:70.
