A method for correcting the mechanical properties of lungs in the artificial lung ventilation in the newborns with the congenital abnormalities of the anterior abdominal wall comprises the protective mode of the artificial lung ventilation, namely the controlled capacity of 8-10 mL/kg, the end-expiratory positive pressure of 3-5 mL HO, and manual inflation of the lungs or otherwise the apparatus-aided inflation with the inspiratory pressure of 25- HO for 10-20 s.
