A THERMAL FUSE AND THE MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A thermal fuse and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to minimize a junction failure by shaping a fusible alloy into a plate shape and welding the plate shape fusible alloy with terminations. CONSTITUTION: The center part of a plate shape termination is divided into a first termination and a second termination(S2). A fusible alloy is applied between the first and the second terminations(S3). The fusible alloy is welded between the first and the second terminations by a sop welding method(S4). A lower extrudate is located under the welded part of the terminations and the fusible alloy, and an upper extrudate is located on the welded part of the terminations and the fusible alloy(S5). The extrudates are welded by an ultrasonic welding method(S6). The resistance of a manufactured fuse is tested(S7).
