PURPOSE: A system for offering an IPTV service to which a community service is added to increase the utilization of contents and a method thereof are provided to maximize convergence characteristics of the IPTV service and make the transaction between users smoothly. CONSTITUTION: A system(100) for offering an IPTV service to which a community service is added to increase the utilization of contents comprises a contents providing server(110), a membership management server(120), a billing management server(140) and a community server(130). The contents providing server offers a plurality of contents. The membership management server stores/manages IDs of each member and personal information. The billing management server is in charge of a payment service for purchased contents. The community server induces a predetermined user to select a corresponding transaction item for the transaction with the other users. |
