APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PROCESSING SKYLINE QUERIES INCLUDING KEYWORD

PURPOSE: A carrying device of a skyline query including a search word and a method thereof are provided to include the characteristic information of a data object in each node of a data search tree, thereby offering an exact search result without an additional searching procedure. CONSTITUTION: A data search tree generator(410) hierarchically arranges a terminal node and non-terminal node and generates a data search tree. An identification number storage(420) arranges and stores an identification number of a data object and a minimum bounding rectangle included in the node to the order which a distance from the origin of a coordinate space increases. If the highest identification number is an identification number of a data object included in terminal node information corresponding to the terminal node, a skyline generator(430) generates the skyline including the identification number of the data object.
