APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTROL DIGITAL WORKS

PURPOSE: An apparatus for the control of digital copyrighted works and a method thereof are provided to integrate hash values which are used in order to seclude digital contents in internet service servers, thereby controlling digital copyrighted works circulated in the internet service servers. CONSTITUTION: A common hash extractor(230) extracts a common hash value of registered digital works by using a common hash extracting program. A data linker(200) offers the program to an Internet service server and collects a hash value extracted with the program from the Internet service server. A hash value comparator(240) decides whether a file of the extracted hash value registers or not by comparing the collected hash value with the common hash value.
