A hair iron which, while conditioning the surfaces of hairs by the surfaces of correction bodies, allows force acting on a cross section of a hair in contact with the correction bodies to be dispersed. The hair iron has the correction bodies (11, 13) disposed to face holding arms and holding and correcting hairs by the correction surfaces (87A, 87B) of the correction bodies while heating the hairs by holding operation. The correction surface (87B) of the correction bodies (11, 13) is formed to have irregularities for increasing the number of points in contact with the hairs or the area in contact with the hairs, and the other correction surface(87A) is formed smoother than the one correction surface (87B).
