A method for operation of combustion engine includes intake of air-and-fuel mixture, compression, ignition, combustion and expansion of combustion products. First fuel and oxidizer or fuel combustion products, e.g. carbon dioxide gas are admitted to the engine cylinder, and after process of expansion the combustion products are discharged. Discharged products of fuel combustion are taken to separate thermo-chemical reactor, besides that to reactor one supplies hydrocarbon fuel. In the reactor heat of combustion products is converted to energy of chemical bonds of molecules of hydrogen and carbon monoxide. The mixture obtained is repetitively taken into the engine cylinder and compressed. |
