PURPOSE: A method and a device for processing data of a display panel with a short length, and a display device including the same are provided to improve display quality by displaying an output image forward based on an observer. CONSTITUTION: A storage(121) stores p-th frame data. The p is the natural number. A mode determining unit determines the display mode of the p-th frame data based on the number of pulses of a data enable signal corresponding to the p-th frame data. A data processing unit(123) processes the p-th frame data corresponding to a display panel with the short width according to the determined display mode. An encoder(126) compresses and encodes the p-th frame data and stores the encoded and compressed data. A decoder decodes the compressed and encoded p-th frame data and provides the decoded data.
