PURPOSE: A reflected wave measuring apparatus using a coupler for live state line inspection is provided to measure the defects of a railway. CONSTITUTION: A signal generator(110) applies a high frequency signal of the fixed waveform in the wiring railway. A reflected wave receiver(120) receives a message the high frequency signal reflected to the wiring railway. A calculator(130) compares the high frequency signal of the signal generator and high frequency signal of the reflected wave receiver and draws in something the or more originating site and unusual condition of the wiring railway. A coupler(140) secludes flow to the signal generator of the low-frequency signal of the wiring railway and reflected wave receiver and cut off the flow to the power supply unit of the high frequency signal of the signal generator.
