摘要 PURPOSE: A component recognition device and a method in which a focus and an imaging region are automatically controlled according to the size of the part is provided to guarantee the reducing of adjusting time and the accuracy of component recognition by variously adjusting the location of lens by the intensity of light. CONSTITUTION: A component recognition device in which a focus and an imaging region are automatically controlled according to the size of a part comprises a main body(200) which includes a fixing lens unit(210) recognizing parts and a guide unit(220) including the moving path to the top and bottom in the downward of the fixing lens unit, a reflector(300) which vertically moves in the main body, a moveable lens unit(400) which vertically moves with the reflector within the moving path of the guide unit by the drive unit, a camera(500) which takes a photograph the part while being located on the moveable lens unit downward, a lighting-emitting unit(600) which is arranged on the inner side of the main body in order to emit the light to the reflector moved with the moveable lens unit, and a photo diode which measures the luminous intensity of the light which is jointed to the upward while the light emitted in the lighting-emitting unit is reflected.
