<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser beam source device reducing speckle noise without making a driving system complex and causing a decrease in energy efficiency. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The laser beam source device 1 includes an active layer 14 which emits light of fundamental wavelength, a first reflection portion 12 which reflects and folds back the light of fundamental wavelength made incident from the active layer 14, a second reflection portion 17 which together with the first reflection portion 12, constitutes a resonator performing laser oscillation, and which reflects and folds back the light of fundamental wavelength made incident from the active layer 14, and a light converging portion 16 which splits and converges the light made incident on the active layer 14 on a plurality of light emission regions independent of one another in a surface direction of the active layer 14.
