SOLUTION: The present invention relates to compounds of formula (I), or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein: W and X are each independently oxygen or sulfur; A is nitrogen, CH, C-CN, or C-(1-3C aliphatic); and R1and R2are bound together to form a ring. These compounds are useful as inhibitors of JAK kinases, particularly for the treatment of an autoimmune disease, a neurodegenerative disorder, or a hematologic malignancy. Ž
