摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem with a conventional game machine wherein the randomness of random number values for determining combinations of display modes may be impaired because continuation of the count values of a counter for extracting random numbers is interrupted, or because the time left for a count-up processing in the counter is reduced. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A CPU sets a clock monitor register housed in the CPU 56 in a clock monitor enabled state so that the clock monitor control is possible. Next, the CPU executes a stack setting processing for setting a specified address of a stack pointer. Then, the CPU executes a system checking processing such as clearing of a RAM, and repeatedly executes a processing for updating random numbers for display.
