PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boot for a constant velocity universal joint, adaptable to a high operating angle with flexible deformation, effectively dispersing and equalizing interference pressure between crest portions, interference pressure between each trough portion and a shaft and stress concentration on the trough portions, and superior in durability with improved abradability and fatigability, and to provide the constant velocity universal joint using the same. SOLUTION: A boot bellows portion 15 includes more than three crest portions 7, and more than three troughs 6 arranged along an axial direction alternately with the crest portions 7. The outside diameter portion of each crest portion 7 in a boot vertical cross-sectional surface is rounded. The curvature radius of the outside diameter portion of one or two crest portions 7 positioned in a center between a large diameter portion 13 and a small diameter portion 14 is larger than the curvature radius of the outside diameter portion in the other crest portions 7.
