PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting device with usability improved by allowing the direction of an optional member to be simply changed. SOLUTION: A receiving surface 42, having an arcuate cross-section and being recessed downwardly in a side view, is provided on the upper surface of a support 30 mounted on a top plate 1. The receiving surface 42 is fitted with the lower surface, having an arcuate shape in a side view and a complementary shape to the receiving surface 42 in a mounting member 32 for mounting an optional member A thereto, so that the lower surface is rotatable along the arcuate surface. The support 30 is provided with latching means 47, 52 for preventing the mounting member 32 from being removed upwardly from the receiving surface 42, and locking means 44, 45, and 49 for locking the mounting member 32 at a plurality of rotation positions centering around the curvature center of the receiving surface 42.
