<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torsion beam type suspension capable of securing screw strength without increasing the thickness of a spindle support plate, and reducing weight and cost. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the torsion beam type suspension, one end of a trailing arm 14 extending in the back-and-forth direction of a vehicle body is coupled to both ends of a torsion beam extending in the width direction of the vehicle body, and end of the trailing arm 14 is coupled to the vehicle body side through a trailing arm support, and the other end is coupled to a wheel side through the spindle support plate 18 supporting the wheel spindle. The spindle support plate 18 has a plurality of fastening screws 34 for coupling it to the wheel side through bolts 32. These fastening screws 34 are provided by forming attachment holes 36 at screw forming positions, and by caulking and attaching caulking nuts 38 to these attachment holes 36, respectively.
