<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an envelope reducing the generation of wrinkles and flap gaps to a practically acceptable level when the envelope goes through the fixing device of an image forming device and not greatly deteriorating the productivity of a print envelope. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Envelopes E1 (E2, E3) keeps sheetlike envelope shape retaining members 2 (3, 4) inserted and positioned in the envelope inside area including at least the inside area of the back end 13 opposite to the inrush end 12 relative to the fixing devices of the envelopes in the direction α of the envelopes relative to the envelope through the direction of the fixing devices (e.g. fixing devices F3, F4) of an image forming device.
