<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration test device performing a sweep test with constant velocity amplitude and a sweep test with constant acceleration amplitude in a wide frequency band including a high frequency region. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The vibration test device has: a velocity detection means detecting the velocity of displacement of a workpiece; and a control means controlling a servo motor so that a ratio of the maximum value of the velocity of the displacement of the workpiece to a prescribed set velocity is within a prescribed range, irrespective of the period each time when the period of the repetition of a velocity variation waveform of the work varies on the basis of the detection result of the velocity detection means. Alternatively, the vibration test device has: an acceleration detection means detecting the acceleration of displacement of the work; and a control means controlling the servo motor so that a ratio of the maximum value of the acceleration of the displacement of the workpiece to prescribed set acceleration is within a prescribed range, irrespective of the period each time when the period of the repetition of an acceleration variation waveform of the work varies on the basis of the detection result of the acceleration detection means.
